Cost a dish here with no account and nothing sent anywhere. Once this page has loaded it needs no connection, so a figure can be checked in a walk-in or a van.
The arithmetic is the same code the signed-in pages run, not a simplified copy, so a cost worked out here is the cost worked out there. What it does not do is anything that needs shared data: dishes with several ingredients, preparations inside other preparations, menu engineering and supplier comparison all live in the signed-in product.
If you want a one-off sum rather than something kept, the calculators do food cost, yield, scaling and par in the same browser, and they convert between units because you give them a pack size to convert by. They keep nothing after you close the tab. This page is the other way round: it remembers, it exports, and it will not convert a unit nobody has given it a pack size for.
This notebook is kept in this browser on this device. Another browser, another computer, or clearing site data will not have it. Export it to keep a copy you own.

A notebook that lives in one browser is one cleared cache from gone. This writes the whole thing to a file you keep, in a format this page reads back.
What this cannot tell you
- Nothing here converts between units. A price per kilo will not cost a recipe written in grams; it reports the mismatch instead of guessing a pack size nobody stated.
- A missing price is reported as missing, never counted as nought. A dish with an uncosted ingredient has no total, because a partial total reads as a complete one.
- An unmeasured yield is reported too. If nobody has said how much of an ingredient survives trimming, the cost shown assumes all of it does and the real cost is higher.
- This notebook is in this browser on this device. It is not a backup, not a sync, and not visible to anyone else. The export is how you keep a copy.
