NOVUS / RESTAURANT

Restaurant intelligence

Reviews, menus, prices, and ingredients with their evidence attached.

Novus separates information we can retain from information that is temporary, contractual, private, or unavailable. The free launch uses owner-authorized records and genuinely open place data rather than scraped review pages.

Ingredient evidence

A confidence label is not a guess disguised as certainty

Confirmed

The restaurant supplied or approved the recipe, quantity, unit, yield, and allergen information.

Estimated

A menu description suggests an ingredient. It can support a review queue, not an exact recipe or allergen claim.

Unknown

The source does not establish the ingredient. Novus leaves the field empty rather than filling it.

Calculation boundary

Exact menu cost needs exact inputs

Recipe cost is the sum of each confirmed ingredient quantity multiplied by a compatible purchase unit price and adjusted for usable yield. Currency, unit, period, and portion must align. When any required input is missing, Novus reports the unresolved line instead of silently converting or estimating it.

Common questions

Does Novus combine ratings into one score?

No. Ratings stay attached to their source and scale. Private imported review summaries are calculated separately for each source.

Can a public menu reveal exact ingredients?

Usually not. Menu text can produce an estimated review queue, while confirmed recipes and allergen details must come from the restaurant.

Why are some providers disabled?

Commercial access, attribution, retention, OAuth, or partner terms may conflict with the free launch. A visible website is not permission to collect its data.

Are uploaded reviews public?

No. Owner-authorized imports stay inside the organization workspace and are excluded from public queries and search indexing.
